I have known I wanted to be a photographer since I was 16. That was when I first went into a darkroom and saw magic. I wasn’t sure how it worked but I knew I wanted to learn how to make that kind of magic.

I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Fine Art Photography in 1982.
